Picking the Models
Instead of picking out the models one by one, there’s a new twist on choosing the models now. The winner and the loser model are brought out first. Since Veejay won the challenge the destiny of the two models is in his hand. He have chosen Angel again because he is comfortable working with her. Since Veejay still chose his model, everyone will get their old models. Teresa told them that they are going to some place again
Where they end up
They end up in Rajo Laurel’s studio, the House of Laurel. Rajo greeted them by congratulating all of them. Rajo quoted “Fashion is not all about art, but as well as business. You have to blend both in order to succeed.” Rajo introduced her mom to the challengers as the House of Laurel’s manager.
It is revealed in this episode that Philip Tampus previously compete with Rajo Laurel before in a Young designers competition. Rajo Laurel turned out to be a successful designer and Philip chose to work abroad. Philip was kind of envious of Rajo because he got his own shop.
Project Runway Philippines Episode 10 Challenge - Push Tradition Forward
teresa introduced them to Sec Arthur Yap of Department of Agriculture. He stresses how the raw materials Slk, Abaca, Pinya feed thousands of Filipinos. Their challenge is to work on indigenous fabric in a non indigenous way. They should incorporate a non - traditional element in fabric - fresh, innovative and design an avant Garde. They were given 2.5 days in order to complete their project. Instead of shopping for fabrics, they are given their own materials. Since Veejay won, he got the first choice, then Aries Philip, Mara, and JAz

Aries - Style is tailoring
Rajo: Perhaps i like the pieces individually, but together it’s not there
Apple: I think your work requires more editing. It’s not flattering at all
Micheal: I wish there would be more
Philip -Inspiration is an exagerrated Victorian dress
Rajo: i just wanted more. I’m not crazy with the overall effect. However, I don’t hate it
Apple: I was expecting more under that pinya, unfortunately its an old silhouette
Micheal: It’s not as imaginative
Jaz - Inspiration from interior design, fushion of helmet, collar and hood.
Rajo: It fell short where you are going
Apple: I’m a bit confused. i liked some part of it. but overall i think it’s busy
Mara - I was not thinking of any silhouette im just playing around. I was the only one who used black
Rajo: I love it because i did’nt know what it was. Its fresh and different
Apple: I cant say that i like it a lot but it drew my attention because it’s unique.
Micheal: at one end it looks like an high school project, it’s amateurish, but one of the most original
Veejay - The inspiration is daster.
Rajo: this dress is a little bit unflaterring. I like the hand stitiching, i love the back.
Apple: Overall its not eye catching but its ok
Micheal: Design wise there is no center or origin
Teresa - not an everyday kind of dress but it eye catching
